THINK...
I CAN DO IT !
TRANSITION

Arrive early to set up your transition spot.
On a colored towel (easier to see it from far away when looking for your transition spot...) I put my
equipment in order of the 3 events.
First - Cycling shoes + socks + race belt
Second - Helmet + Gloves + Sunglasses
Third - Running shoes + Hat

Transition Swim/Bike
As soon as I get out of the water, I get rid on my swim cap & glasses while I'm running to my spot.
At the transition, I put them on my bag.
I clipped my race belt (bib on my back - easier for the aero position) + I wipe my feet at the same
time on my towel.
I put on my socks & cycling shoes.
I put my helmet on & attach it, my glove (it's personal...) & sunglasses...
I run beside my bike until the demarcation line.

Transition Bike/Run
At the transition, I put my bike on the rack.
Get rid of my helmet, switch for my hat. I turn my race belt, the number should be on the front.
Switch my cycling shoes for my running shoes.

PRACTICE your transitions. Know exactly where the entrance and exit for BOTH T1 & T2 are.
Make sure you know where the mount & dismount line is for the bike.
Make sure initial bike gear is not too large or small.
Know which row your bike is on! Walk it ahead of time.

Ride on the right side of your lane
Keep 3 bike lengths between yourself & the cyclist in front of you.
Pass on the left of the cyclist in front, never on the right.
Complete your pass within 15 seconds.
If passed, you must drop completely out of the zone, to the rear, before attempting to re-pass.
